Philippe Malone’s “Krach” joins in the diptych “Modern times”, dealing with the world of the work, with the second text “L’ entretien” of the same author.
Tale of the fall of a man of the 30th floor of a tower, “Krach” confronts him with his own desire of ascent and social recognition to meet the requirements at best of his company. Model employee, he is taken in the cogs of a system which he supplies himself then which goes over him and erases him faster than it shaped him.
The author frees himself from the drama and from his codes, no named character, no space, no possible narrative. “Krach” invites the director to think of the stage as a space of freedom.
